Antimicrobial Resistance
(AMR)

Our research focuses on the exploration of rare actinomycetes as potential sources of novel antimicrobial agents.
Actinomycetes, a diverse group of bacteria found in soil and aquatic environments, have long been recognized for their ability to produce bioactive compounds with antimicrobial properties.
Our work involves the isolation and characterization of these rare actinomycetes, with a keen focus on their antimicrobial activities against a range of clinically relevant pathogens. Through rigorous screening and advanced molecular techniques, we aim to identify novel compounds capable of overcoming antimicrobial resistance mechanisms.
